01. Acceptance of these terms
By visiting thesuryar.com, reading the blog, or using any of the free calculators and tools on this site, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, the simplest option is to not use the site — no hard feelings.
These terms apply to everyone who visits the site. I may update them occasionally, and continued use after an update counts as acceptance of the new version.
02. What this site is (and is not)
Deepak Surya is a personal blog and a collection of free browser-based tools covering topics like personal finance, health, productivity, career, and relationships, alongside book summaries and the occasional off-topic story. It is written and maintained by one person, not a licensed professional service.
Nothing on this site — no article, no calculator result — is professional financial, medical, legal, or psychological advice. Always check with a qualified professional before making decisions based on what you read here.
03. Using the free tools & calculators
The calculators on this site are provided for general, informational estimates only. They run in your browser using the numbers you enter, and while I have tried to make the underlying formulas accurate, I cannot guarantee the results are error-free or suited to your specific situation.
Do not treat any calculator output as a substitute for advice from an accountant, financial advisor, doctor, or other qualified professional.
04. Content, ads & affiliate links
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. I do not control the specific content of every ad shown, though Google own advertising policies apply.
Some posts include affiliate links to books, products, or services. If you click through and make a purchase, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence what I write.

The calculators and tools are provided for your personal use. Scraping or repackaging them for a competing product is not permitted.
