A percentage calculator built to be actually easy to use

Most percentage calculators online make you hunt for the right box or scroll past ads to find your answer. This one keeps every mode one tap away and shows the math, not just the number.

Six calculators, one page

Basic percentage, reverse percentage, change, difference and discount — no need to bounce between different tools or sites.

Live results as you type

No submit button to hunt for. The answer updates the instant you finish typing either field.

Formula shown every time

Each result includes the exact calculation used, so you can check the working or learn the method, not just copy an answer.

One-tap copy

Copy any result straight to your clipboard for a spreadsheet, invoice or homework answer.

Built for mobile

Large tap targets and a numeric keypad on phones — no pinch-zooming to hit a tiny input box.

No sign-up, no clutter

No accounts, no pop-ups, no ad interstitials between you and your answer.

Statistics & data

Compare two values as a percentage difference for reports or research.

Frequently asked questions

Divide the percentage by 100, then multiply by the number. For 20% of 150: (20 ÷ 100) × 150 = 30. Use the "% of Number" tab above to get this instantly for any two numbers.

Divide the smaller (or relevant) number by the total, then multiply by 100. So 30 out of 120 is (30 ÷ 120) × 100 = 25%. The "X is % of Y" tab does this calculation for you.

Subtract the original value from the new value, divide by the original value, then multiply by 100. A positive result is an increase; a negative result is a decrease. Going from 40 to 68 is a 70% increase.

Percentage change compares a new value to an original value (direction matters — it can be an increase or decrease). Percentage difference compares two values with no starting point, using their average as the base, so it's always positive.

Divide the final value by the percentage it represents (as a decimal). If 92 is 115% of an original number, divide 92 by 1.15 to get 80. The "Reverse %" tab handles this automatically.

Multiply the original price by the discount percentage, then subtract that from the original price. An $80 item at 25% off saves $20, for a final price of $60. The "Discount" tab shows both the savings and the final price.

Yes. Every field accepts decimals, and the percentage change and difference calculators correctly handle negative starting or ending values.
