Why it is different

Why this passport size photo maker is better

Many photo makers upload your face to a server, add a watermark or charge for the print sheet. This one runs on your device and gives you everything free.

Your face stays private

Cropping, background cleanup and print sheets all happen in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded or stored.

Face guide for each size

The guide adjusts to the photo size you choose, so the head height and position match what officials expect.

Free print sheets

Requirements

Passport photo requirements checklist

Most countries follow similar rules. Check these before you take the photo to avoid a rejection.

Do

  • Use a plain white or light background with no pattern.
  • Face the camera directly with a neutral expression and both eyes open.
  • Keep your whole face visible, from the top of the hair to the chin.
  • Use soft, even light with no shadows on the face or wall.
  • Use a recent photo, usually taken within the last six months.

Avoid

  • Glasses, as many countries no longer allow them.
  • Hats or head coverings, unless worn for religious or medical reasons.
  • Filters, beauty edits or heavy retouching.
  • Selfies taken at arm's length. Ask someone to take the photo from about 1.2 m away.
  • Uniforms, or clothing the same color as the background.
Printing

How to print passport photos at home or a shop

At home

Download the print sheet as a PDF or JPG. Load glossy photo paper, open the print settings and choose 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page. Cut carefully along the lines with a paper trimmer or sharp scissors.

At a photo shop or kiosk

Send the 4 × 6 inch JPG sheet to any photo lab, pharmacy or kiosk and ask for a standard 4 × 6 print. One print usually gives you 6 to 8 passport photos for a small fee.

FAQ

Passport size photo maker FAQs

Is this passport size photo maker free?

Yes. The passport size photo maker is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no charge for print sheets. Everything runs in your browser.

What is the passport photo size in India?

The Indian passport photo is 35 × 45 mm, which is 413 × 531 pixels at 300 DPI. Indian visa and OCI photos use 2 × 2 inch, or 51 × 51 mm. Check the official website for the latest rules before you apply.

How do I make a 2x2 photo online?

Choose US passport and visa, 2 × 2 in, or Indian visa and OCI, then upload your photo. Frame your face using the guide and download the photo at 600 × 600 pixels, or print a sheet.

How many passport photos fit on a 4x6 sheet?

Eight 35 × 45 mm photos fit on a 4 × 6 inch sheet in landscape layout, and six 2 × 2 inch photos fit. An A4 sheet holds up to 30 photos of 35 × 45 mm. The tool picks the best layout for you.

Can I change the background to white?

Yes, if your photo was taken against a plain wall. Choose White and adjust Wall detection until the wall turns clean white while your hair and shoulders stay intact. Busy or patterned backgrounds need a new photo against a plain wall.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Your photo is processed entirely on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, saved or shared, so your personal image stays private.

How do I reduce my passport photo to 50KB?

Turn on Max size, enter 50 and download the photo. The tool lowers JPG quality step by step until the file fits, while keeping the exact pixel size.

How should I print the photo sheet?

Print on glossy photo paper at 100% or Actual size, never Fit to page, so each photo keeps its exact size. You can also send the 4 × 6 inch JPG to any photo shop.
