    Features

An aim trainer built for real practice

Many browser aim tests give you one mode and a single number. This one gives you focused drills, honest stats and progress you can actually track.

    Three focused drills

Classic tests raw flick speed, Timed builds target switching, and Precision trains clicking small, moving windows of opportunity.

    Millisecond timing

Every hit is timed from the moment its target appears, using your browser's high-resolution clock and smooth canvas rendering.

    Custom crosshair and size

Choose small, medium or large targets and a cross, dot or circle crosshair so practice feels closer to your game.

    Detailed results

See score, average time, accuracy and a per-target chart that shows whether you slow down as a run goes on.

    Bests and history

Personal bests for every drill and size, plus your last 10 runs, are stored on this device so you can watch yourself improve.

    Fullscreen, any device

Go fullscreen for zero distractions. It works with a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen, and nothing needs installing.

    How to use

How to use the aim trainer

Set up once, then come back for short daily sessions. Consistency matters far more than marathon practice.

    1. Pick a drill

Start with Classic to set a baseline, then add Timed and Precision for variety.

    2. Choose size and crosshair

Medium targets suit most players. Switch to Small once your accuracy stays above 90%.

    3. Press Start

Click Start or press Space. A three-second countdown gives you time to settle your hand.

    4. Hit the targets

Click or tap each target. Misses lower your accuracy, so aim before you click.

    5. Review and repeat

Check your chart and bests, then play a few more rounds while you are warm.

    Drills

Which aim training drill should you use?

Each drill targets a different skill, so a balanced warm-up uses all three.

    Classic: flick speed

One target at a time, 30 in total. It isolates the core flick: see the target, move and click. Your average time per target is the number to beat.

    Best for: baseline and warm-up

    Timed: target switching

Three targets stay on screen for 30 or 60 seconds. Clearing them quickly trains you to plan the next flick while finishing the current one.

    Best for: speed under pressure

    Precision: timing and control

Targets grow, then shrink and vanish. You have to be accurate and decisive, which punishes spam clicking and rewards clean, controlled shots.

    Best for: accuracy and composure
    Benchmarks

What is a good aim trainer score?

In the Classic drill with medium targets, your average time per target is the clearest measure. Use this guide to read your result.

RatingAvg time per targetWhat it suggests
EliteUnder 430 msVery fast, controlled flicks. Push smaller targets to keep improving.
Great430 to 520 msStrong, consistent aim. Focus on keeping accuracy above 90%.
Good520 to 650 msSolid fundamentals. Short daily sessions bring steady gains.
Average650 to 850 msTypical for casual players. Work on smooth, direct mouse paths.
Warming upOver 850 msPlenty of room to grow. Prioritise accuracy, then add speed.

These bands are our own guide for this tool, not an official standard. Hardware, sensitivity and screen size all affect times, so compare yourself with your own past runs first. Precision is rated by the share of targets you catch.

Accuracy first, then speedClicking fast but missing costs more than it saves. Aim for 90% accuracy or better before you push your average time down, because the habits you train are the habits you keep.
    Tips

How to improve your aim faster

    • Train little and often

Ten focused minutes a day beats one long session a week, and it keeps your hand fresh.

    • Turn off mouse acceleration

On Windows, untick Enhance pointer precision so the same hand movement always moves the cursor the same distance.

    • Keep sensitivity stable

Constantly changing DPI or sensitivity resets your muscle memory. Pick a setting and stick with it for weeks.

    • Accuracy before speed

Slow down until you hit 90% or more, then gradually speed up. Speed builds on clean technique.

    • Check your setup

A higher refresh rate monitor, a large mousepad and a comfortable posture all make aiming easier.

    • Rest between sets

When your scores start dropping, take a break. Fatigue trains bad habits, while rest locks in good ones.

    FAQ

    Aim trainer FAQ

    What is an aim trainer?

An aim trainer is a tool for practising how quickly and accurately you move your mouse or finger to a target. Shooters and many other games reward fast, precise aiming, and a trainer lets you drill that one skill in short, focused sessions.

Does an online aim trainer really improve your aim?

Regular, focused practice with clear feedback can improve mouse control and how quickly you acquire targets. It works best alongside playing your game, with stable sensitivity settings and short sessions, rather than as a replacement for in-game practice.

What is a good average time per target?

In our Classic drill with medium targets, under 520 ms is great and under 430 ms is elite. Times depend on your mouse, screen size and sensitivity, so your own trend over several sessions matters most.

    How is accuracy calculated?

Accuracy is your hits divided by all your clicks inside the arena, so clicking empty space counts as a miss. In Precision, a target that vanishes does not lower accuracy, but it does lower your catch rate.

Should I turn off mouse acceleration?

For consistent aim, yes. With acceleration on, the same hand movement moves the cursor different distances depending on how fast you move. On Windows the setting is called Enhance pointer precision.

Can I use the aim trainer on a phone or laptop trackpad?

Yes. Tap targets on a touchscreen or use a trackpad. Scores are not directly comparable across devices, so compare runs made with the same setup.

    Is my score saved?

Your personal bests, settings and last 10 runs are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Why do my scores vary between sessions?

Warm-up, fatigue, focus, frame rate and even how you sit all affect aim. Play two or three warm-up runs first and judge progress by your average across several sessions.

    Ready to beat your best?

Run a quick warm-up with the aim trainer before your next match, and track how your flicks improve over time. When you want more, explore our free online tools.
