Connect a controller to test vibration. Works best in Chrome and Edge.
Buttons appear here once a controller is connected.
Most controller testers only show raw numbers. This one gives you a clear picture of your controller plus the checks that actually matter: drift, range and rumble.
Every face button, bumper, trigger, D-pad direction, stick click and home button lights up as you press it, with analog trigger fill.
Let go of the sticks and the tester measures where they rest, flagging drift beyond your chosen deadzone.
Rotate a stick around its edge to map its full range and get a circularity error score for each stick.
Test the strong and weak motors separately or together, set intensity and length, and try trigger rumble where supported.
See the exact value of every button and axis, plus how many times each button has been pressed, to catch sticky or double-registering buttons.
Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, 8BitDo and generic gamepads, with matching button labels and up to four controllers at once.

Plug in your controller or pair it by Bluetooth, then press any button so the browser can detect it.
Each button should light up once per press. Check the press counter for buttons that don't register or register twice.
Squeeze each trigger slowly. The bar should fill smoothly from 0 to 1 without jumps.
Rotate each stick slowly around its edge, then let go. Look at the circularity score and the resting position for drift.
Press Rumble, then try each motor on its own. You should feel a strong, low buzz and a lighter, higher buzz.
Most issues can be fixed at home without replacing the controller.
Press a button while this page is open, since browsers hide controllers until then. Try a data-capable USB cable, re-pair Bluetooth, close other apps using the controller, and use Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
Blow compressed air around the stick base and rotate it firmly several times. Recalibrate in Windows (search for Set up USB game controllers) or Steam, and raise the in-game deadzone slightly.
Watch the raw list while pressing. If a button never lights up or counts twice, clean around it and update the controller firmware through its official app.
Browser rumble support varies. Use Chrome or Edge, connect by USB, and make sure vibration isn't turned off in the controller or system settings.
Browsers number buttons in a standard order. Here's how the numbers match each controller's labels.

Connect it by USB or Bluetooth, open this page and press any button. Every button, trigger and stick then lights up on screen as you use it.
Browsers only show a controller after you press a button while the page is open. If it still doesn't appear, reconnect it, try a USB cable, and use Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
Let go of both sticks and watch the readings. A healthy stick rests close to 0.00; if it stays above your deadzone, usually about 0.1, or moves on its own, the stick is drifting.
Rotate each stick slowly around its edge. Most controllers score under about 10%. Much higher values mean the stick doesn't reach its full range in some directions.
Vibration works in Chrome and Edge with most Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Firefox and Safari have limited or no support for controller vibration.
Yes. Any controller your browser recognises works, including DualSense, DualShock 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One, Switch Pro, 8BitDo and generic USB gamepads.
Yes. Connect up to four controllers and switch between them with the tabs at the top of the tester.
It means your browser recognises the controller layout and maps its buttons to a common order. Controllers without it still work, but buttons may appear in a different order.
No. The test uses your browser's built-in Gamepad API and nothing leaves your device.
